Steppin' Out

In February 2005 Jerry placed third in the People Division of Canon's first Digital Rebel
Contest with his image "The Red Bags".
In February 2005 one of Jerry's images was used by Photoworkshop.com on their
promotional handout at the 81st  Photo Marketing Association convention in Orlando.
The cover story May 15, 2005 issue of Double Exposure, Photoworkshop.com's on-line
magazine features Jerry and his photographic journey.
Read an article in the July 15, 2005 issue of Double Exposure where Jerry explores ways
to re-energize your creative eye.
Jerry has received Honorable Mentions in several of Robert Farber's quarterly assignment
contests, “Leaning on the Lamp,” “Light the Night,” and “Self Portrait.”
Read an article in Double Exposure on how Jerry conceived and created the image "Spring
Has Sprung."
Photographer's Forum features two of Jerry's images, "Legs on Haight" in "Best of
Photography Annual 2005" and "Checkin' It Out" in the "Best of Photography Annual 2006."
Jerry’s article,The Improvised Studio: Using Non-Photographic Lightingwas published in
the February 2006 Double Exposure magazine offering lighting hints when setting up a
studio at home.
In the April 2006 issue  of Double Exposure, Photoworkshop.com members "Share Tales of
Inspiration" in an article by Jerry.
The June 2006 issue of the Brazilian on-line magazine The Art of Seeing published by
Charles Dias features some of Jerry's images from 1950s Japan.
The latest issue (July 2006) of Photoworkshop.com's on-line magazine, Double Exposure
features an article from Jerry's archives,  "Remembering Ammon Hennacy."
With the article "Memories of Speed," Jerry recalls the World Land Speed Record attempts
at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats in 1960 in the October 2006 issue of Double Exposure
magazine.
One of Jerry’s images from 1950s Japan was featured in a Photoworkshop.com ad on
Amazon .com in August of 2007.  
Boy of Blue Industries: The Art of Wayne Martin Belger” an article and interview with
Wayne Martin Belger, photographer, artist and master pinhole camera maker is featured in
the September 2007 issue of Double Exposure magazine.     More....
